Disclosure are brothers Guy (born 1991) and Howard Lawrence (born 1994) from Reigate, Surrey. Since forming in 2010, they have built a signature sound that fuses UK garage rhythms, dubstep basslines and house music with influences from soul, jazz and 90s hip-hop. Their early singles appeared on Moshi Moshi and Transparent Records before the 2012 Greco-Roman EPs and their PMR debut "Latch" – featuring a then-unknown Sam Smith – brought them international recognition. Their debut album "Settle" (PMR/Island, June 2013) hit number one in the UK and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album. The follow-up "Caracal" (2015) also topped the charts, featuring collaborations with Lorde, The Weeknd and Miguel. Their third album "Energy" (2020) incorporated African rhythms and featured Kelis, Slowthai and Khalid, among others. Active both as a live act and a DJ duo, Disclosure regularly appear at major international festivals including KappaFuturFestival, CRSSD and Brunch Electronik. Their blend of underground club credibility and pop accessibility has made them one of the most influential electronic music acts of the 2010s and 2020s.
