The car park is completely free of charge, fully surfaced with tarmac, and offers generously sized spaces. Part of the area is covered, making it easy to find a shaded spot — a welcome bonus from April onwards. Once the sun goes down, lighting keeps things easy to navigate, and an information board is on hand as well.

Location & surroundings

The car park sits on a side street on the edge of Artà (07570). It's a little tucked away, but easy enough to reach, and a short walk of just a few minutes brings you to the pedestrian zone, the main shopping street and the market. As the historic centre of Artà is designated a residents-only parking zone, this car park is a handy alternative for day visitors.

A note on how busy it gets

On market days the car park can fill up quickly, so arriving early is a good idea if you want to be sure of a space. The car park also has electric vehicle charging points and extra-wide bays that work well for larger vehicles. There is no CCTV or manned security on site.
