Artesania Tèxtil Bujosa in Santa Maria del Camí is a traditional weaving workshop and manufactory producing authentic Mallorcan textiles using time-honoured craft techniques.
Hand-woven fabrics made on the premises
The heart of Bujosa is its traditional Mallorcan cloth — above all the distinctive Llengües pattern, with its flowing tongue-shaped motifs. Everything is woven by hand, and the quality speaks for itself: sturdy, carefully finished textiles that feel entirely different from anything machine-made. Alongside fabric sold by the metre, the shop stocks a selection of finished articles — tablecloths, cushion covers, bags, cushions, notebooks, baby items and wash bags. Bespoke pieces can also be made to order.
A workshop with a living history
At the back of the premises stand the historic looms that have been running for well over a hundred years — and are still in use every day. Visitors can watch the loom in action and follow the entire making process from start to finish. Out on the terrace, freshly dyed yarns are laid out to dry, offering an at-a-glance glimpse of the workshop's truly handcrafted character. The weaving tradition has been passed down through generations, and younger members of the team are carrying it forward.

The workshop and shop are located at Carrer Bernat de Santa Eugènia 53 in Santa Maria del Camí. Orders can also be sent by post, so if you're not based on Mallorca you can have fabrics delivered straight to your door.
