Ashtanga Yoga Palma de Mallorca – known as Deva Shala – is a yoga studio in the Ponent neighbourhood of Palma, specialising in the Ashtanga tradition in the Mysore style.

Ashtanga & Mysore – the practice at the heart of it all

Deva Shala is dedicated to Ashtanga Yoga, taught according to traditional Mysore methods. The studio welcomes all levels – from those brand new to yoga right through to advanced practitioners. Students receive individual guidance and support, so everyone can find their own way within the Ashtanga sequence. Drop-in sessions are available, as confirmed by visitors who have spontaneously joined a class whilst staying on Mallorca.

The teaching team

The teaching team includes authorised instructors Ramiro and Victoria, who are committed to passing on the Ashtanga practice to both established students and newcomers alike. Gibran Gonzalez also teaches at the studio. The team is known for being engaged, approachable and professional.

The shala is bright and immaculately presented. The calm, focused atmosphere is one of the studio's defining characteristics – an authentic Mysore ambience that keeps practitioners coming back, even when travelling. A shower is available on site.
