The Asociación de Yoga y Filosofía Práctica – known as S'Om – is a yoga studio and non-profit association on Mallorca that brings together yoga classes, teacher training, retreats, and philosophy practice within a country house nestled in nature.

S'Om weaves together physical yoga practice with philosophy and meditation. The yoga teacher training draws on a range of traditional yoga schools and is widely regarded as thorough and grounded in real practice. Alongside the teacher training, you'll find retreats, meditation courses, and philosophy workshops. Ecstatic Dance and mantra chanting also feature on the programme. Whether you're just starting out with yoga or looking to deepen an existing practice, there's real depth of content here and a genuine sense of community.

Location & Nature

The association is based at Camí d'Horta Nº 5 in 07240 – well away from urban noise and surrounded by natural landscape. The grounds include a garden with various peaceful spots for meditation, as well as a natural pool that is completely free of chlorine, where water lilies, papyrus, and other aquatic plants thrive. Inside the country house, alongside a spacious yoga hall with extensive teaching resources, there is a library and a lounge available to association members. Guest rooms are also available on site.

Atmosphere & Community

The atmosphere at S'Om is widely described as light-filled, tranquil, and welcoming – very much like being part of a close-knit family. The association runs its own vegetarian kitchen, and the food on offer has been praised as genuinely delicious. Cats are very much part of the character of the place. It's worth noting that at least one visitor has raised concerns about the upkeep of the building and garden, so it's something to bear in mind if pristine presentation is particularly important to you.
