Is Alexander also officially licensed as a physiotherapist in Spain?
Yes. Anyone wishing to work as a physiotherapist in Spain from another EU country such as Germany must have their qualification officially recognized (EPC procedure) and then register with the relevant professional association – in the Balearic Islands, this is the COFIB. Alexander has completed both steps and is registered under membership number 2557.
Do I need a prescription from a doctor?
No, a prescription is not necessary. AtFit Quality operates as a private practice on a self-pay basis. Depending on your health insurance provider, partial reimbursement may be possible – you should ask your insurer directly in advance.
What do I need to prepare for the home visit?
Alexander will bring a massage table and massage oil, so you do not need to purchase anything. Please have a towel and enough space for the table ready. If a massage table is not possible at your place, an alternative will be discussed beforehand, such as a treatment while seated. Individual preferences such as music or a particular scent can also be accommodated.
How does a treatment proceed?
At the beginning, a detailed medical history is taken to understand your symptoms and goals precisely. This is followed by individualized therapy. Finally, you will receive suitable exercises that you can continue at home – available as a video or PDF to take with you upon request.
How long does a treatment take?
Generally between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on individual needs.
How often should I go to physiotherapy?
This varies from person to person – regularity is more important than a fixed frequency. Sometimes once a month is enough, for example when time is limited; in other cases, weekly treatment is advisable, such as in preparation for surgery.
In which area are home visits possible?
The focus is on Capdepera, Cala Ratjada, Artà and the surrounding area. Longer distances are also possible if needed, for example for larger requests or multiple clients in one region.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Usually within about 14 days. If urgent, an appointment on the same or following day is also possible.
How can I make an appointment?

In which languages is the treatment provided?
Primarily in German and Russian; English is also quite possible. Spanish only when urgently needed.
How much does a physiotherapy treatment cost?
A standard session (60 minutes) costs €70, and a detailed session (90 minutes) for more complex conditions costs €100. For anyone who would like to attend physiotherapy regularly, there are savings packages with multiple sessions at a reduced total price—from 3 standard sessions (€200) to 5 detailed sessions (€450) with the largest discount. Do you have a permanent practice that I can come to?
No, we do not have a permanent practice with a fixed location. AtFit Quality is completely mobile and comes to you – whether at home, at a hotel, or at your holiday apartment.
Can I get an invoice for my health insurance?
Yes, you will always receive an invoice that will be sent to you. If your health insurance requires specific wording, for example a note indicating acute treatment, the description can be adjusted accordingly—truthfully, but phrased to meet your insurer’s requirements.
Do you also treat children or older people?
We preferably work with adults aged 18 and over – age generally plays a secondary role. With parental consent, treatment is also possible from the age of 15/16, but only when accompanied by a parent.
Do you have fixed opening hours?
No, there are no fixed opening hours. Since we are completely mobile, each appointment is arranged individually with you.
Which payment methods are accepted?
You can pay in cash, by bank transfer, PayPal, or via a payment link (Wix Payments). Card payments are not currently possible, but will be added in the future.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes, ideally please notify us 24 hours in advance. In urgent or unforeseen cases, of course, a cancellation or rescheduling at shorter notice is also possible.
Is there a cancellation fee if I do not cancel in time?
For short-notice cancellations outside the 24-hour notice period, a fee may apply. You can find the exact conditions in our Terms and Conditions (General Terms and Conditions of Contract).
Can I give a training session or a treatment as a gift?
Yes, that’s easily possible. Just get in touch with us briefly, and you’ll receive your training session or treatment as a gift voucher.
Do I have to commit long-term, or can I book flexibly?
You are completely free in your decision and do not have to commit long-term. If you would prefer to commit for a longer period, our 3- and 5-session packages are available for physiotherapy and personal training.
Are your offers also suitable for holidaymakers in Mallorca, not just for locals?
Yes, absolutely – we are also happy to work with holidaymakers. If, for example, you need an invoice for your German health insurance provider: Since we bill in Spain under Spanish law, the invoice will be issued in Spanish, but it can also include a German translation.
What happens if the therapist or trainer becomes ill or is unavailable at short notice?
In this case, your appointment will be rescheduled or made up. If this is exceptionally not possible, the amount already paid will be refunded.
