Description
Coll de Pescadores is a viewpoint in the municipality of Artà in the north-east of Mallorca, offering sweeping panoramic views across the island's northern coastline.
The Panorama
From the viewpoint, your gaze stretches across the Bay of Alcúdia and the northern coast. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Cap de Formentor. Below lies the village of Betlem, with the surrounding mountain landscape stretching out behind it. Coll de Pescadores itself sits at 382 metres above sea level.
Walking & Cycling
The viewpoint is a popular destination for cyclists, who regard the winding route as a rewarding climb and descent. From here, walking trails lead into the surrounding area, including towards the Ermita de Betlem. Follow the road to its end and you'll reach a historic hermitage church. The access road from Artà is narrow, tight, and full of hairpin bends — cars, cyclists, and walkers all share the carriageway, so a little mutual consideration goes a long way.
Atmosphere & Surroundings
Complete tranquillity and very little traffic define this spot. The road winds through lush vegetation and a varied landscape of mountains and coastline. A small car park is available on site.
How to Get There
The viewpoint is located on the Unnamed Road 07579 in the municipality of Artà, Illes Balears. Access is via a narrow, winding mountain road.
