Aussichtsturm s'Albufereta

Description

The s'Albufereta watchtower is a birdwatching platform on the edge of the s'Albufereta nature reserve near Alcúdia.

Views over the lagoon

From the viewing platform, you look out over the Alcúdia-Pollença lagoon. A variety of migratory bird species can be spotted here throughout the year, and the spot also offers a lovely view of the sunset. Binoculars are well worth bringing, as the platform sits at a little distance from the water where the waterbirds tend to gather.

A short walk, easy to reach

The car park sits right next to the site on Ctra. Port Pollença 3 in Alcúdia. From there it's around 200 metres on foot to the viewing platform. There is currently a single viewpoint, and signage to the entrance is fairly limited, so it's worth knowing where you're headed before you arrive.
