Description

Balandrijs is a restaurant in Cala Rajada that wins you over with fresh cooking, a welcoming atmosphere and warm, attentive service.

Food & Dishes

Freshness is clearly the priority here: fish and seafood take centre stage on a concise menu, and the focus pays off — everything that reaches the table is carefully crafted. Octopus, sole, monkfish in saffron sauce and salmon fillet with vegetables and mashed potato are among the standout dishes. The pasta is equally impressive, with homemade tagliatelle and a range of pasta dishes drawing plenty of praise, as do the Pimientos de Padrón. Among the desserts, the almond cake deserves a special mention. Portions are generous, and the value for money is excellent.

Atmosphere

Balandrijs may look unassuming from the outside, but inside it surprises with a stylish, cosy setting. In addition to the indoor dining area, there are seats outside as well.

Where to Find It

The restaurant is located at Carrer de l'Agulla 104 in Cala Rajada, in the north-east of Mallorca.

For Special Occasions

Balandrijs is also a great choice for celebrations with larger groups — birthdays have been marked here in style, complete with decorations provided by the house.
