A tradition since 1967

Bar Casa Miss was founded in 1967 by Jaume Mir Serra and Apolònia Tugores. The name of the house goes back to their daughter Magdalena, who was crowned Miss Mallorca in 1966. Today, Jaume Mir runs the family business as the second generation — honouring the establishment's deep-rooted identity whilst bringing a contemporary touch.

Tapas, Variat & award-winning vermouth

Homemade tapas and traditional Mallorcan cuisine are at the heart of the menu. The Variat — the classic Mallorcan tapas selection — is the signature of the house. Croquettes, Patatas Bravas, Croquetas de pollo and a Pepito de ternera are among the dishes guests keep coming back for. Vermouth takes pride of place here: the house pours its own creations, including the Miss Vermut and the "Guapísimo" with orange foam. The Miss Vermut was named the best vermouth in the world in 2025.

Wednesday tapas evening

On Wednesdays, Casa Miss hosts a tapas buffet evening where guests help themselves from the buffet, note their selections by table number, and settle up at the till at the end. A reservation is strongly recommended for this evening.

The bar sits right on the Plaça de la Constitució No. 3 in Sa Pobla. The outdoor terrace overlooking the square is a firm fixture of the venue — patio heaters and blankets are on hand, so you can comfortably sit outside even on cooler evenings.
