What's on the Menu: Tapas, Burgers & Pizza
Tapas are at the heart of the menu — think octopus, burrata, meatballs in tomato sauce, and jamón croquettes. Burgers and pizza are firm fixtures too, with sobrasada pizza and burrata pizza having earned their own following. Portions are generous, making it excellent value for money. The drinks and sangria are very much a house speciality.

Bar La Ruta is located at Bulevar de Peguera 29 in Peguera. The Bulevar is the town's main promenade, and the bar is easily reached on foot.
Atmosphere
The place has a relaxed, welcoming feel that's genuinely Spanish — less touristy than many of its neighbours. Sitting inside, you're nicely sheltered from the bustle of the street. As it tends to get busy, booking ahead is a good idea, especially for larger groups.
