Description
Bar Lina is a traditional neighbourhood bar in the Foners district of Palma, which has been going strong for over 47 years and has been run by the Riera family for 35 of them.
Home-cooked food and bocadillos
Bar Lina is all about unfussy, home-cooked fare: tapas, bocadillos and pambolis, hot and cold sandwiches, tortilla and a daily set menu. The bocadillos and tortilla pincho have earned a particularly loyal following. On Fridays, paella takes centre stage.
A proper bar de barrio
The place is a textbook example of a classic Mallorcan neighbourhood bar: simple tables, a bustling breakfast crowd in the morning, no pretension — just character and a genuinely warm, family atmosphere. The food is well priced and honestly put together.
Located in the Foners district
Bar Lina is situated at Carrer de Pérez Galdós 21 in the Llevant (Foners) district of Palma. Coming on foot is the best bet, as parking in the surrounding streets is limited.
