Description
Barcos Azules is a boat trip operator based in Port de Sóller, running coastal excursions along the dramatic north-west shore of Mallorca.
The Route: Port de Sóller to Sa Calobra
The centrepiece of the operation is the journey between Port de Sóller and Sa Calobra. Along the way, the Tramuntana coastline reveals itself at its most spectacular — sheer cliffs, sea caves, and brilliantly clear, deep-blue water make the voyage an experience in its own right. The boats cruise close to the rock faces at times and slow down at the most striking spots, giving you every chance to grab a decent photo. At the far end, Sa Calobra sits right beside the Torrent de Pareis gorge, which you can reach on foot from the landing point.
Cala Tuent and Further Stops
Alongside Sa Calobra, Cala Tuent features on the itinerary — a largely unspoilt cove tucked into the Tramuntana that remains refreshingly uncrowded. Some excursions also include dedicated swimming stops.
Booking and Tickets
You can book tickets online and receive a discount on the standard price when you do so. Your booking confirmation arrives by email as a QR code, which you can show straight from your smartphone. Tickets are also available in person at the office.
Location & Getting There
The office is at Moll Comercial S/N, Local 2–3, right in the heart of Port de Sóller harbour. Parking is available close to the port.
On-Board Facilities
The vessels are double-decked and have a bar service on board. If you're particularly sensitive to choppy water, bear in mind that the catamaran offers a noticeably more stable ride than a mono-hull when seas are a little rougher.
