Description
Blanca Terra is a winery with its own vineyard, museum and tastings in the heart of Mallorca, in Montuïri.
Wines from the Mallorcan soil
Don Bernat Febrer founded Blanca Terra in collaboration with a renowned oenologist, with the aim of producing high-quality Mallorcan wine. The vineyard is home to white varieties including Chardonnay, Riesling, Macabeu and Malvasia, as well as red varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Monastrell. The most recent planting also introduced indigenous varieties to the estate. Blanca Terra holds IGP Vi de la Terra Mallorca status.
Tours, museum and wine tastings
A visit to Blanca Terra offers a well-structured experience: a short introductory film sets the scene before the tour takes you through the winery, the barrel cellar, and the bottling and production areas. Also part of the visit is the on-site museum, which documents both traditional and modern winemaking. Wine tastings follow the tour — one popular option pairs three wines with tapas, while another features six wines accompanied by cheese or tapas. The guides explain the winemaking process with real knowledge and enthusiasm, and tours are available in English, German and Spanish, amongst other languages. Self-guided tours of the winery and museum are also possible, with a maximum group size of twelve people per booking.
The estate and its atmosphere
The grounds at Blanca Terra are laid out with great attention to detail — the buildings and outdoor spaces feel modern, elegant and beautifully kept. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, even though the winery sits not far from a main road.
Getting there
Blanca Terra is located at Diseminado Varis 172, in the municipality of Montuïri, in the central part of Mallorca. Dedicated on-site parking is available.
