The family behind Can Coleto chose the opposite path: as grapes available for purchase grew scarce, they began planting again themselves. They chose Monastrell, a variety that performs reliably well on Mallorca and lends itself to young, easy-drinking wines that don't demand long ageing. That philosophy has produced several wines that have since built the house a name of its own. The Blanc de Negres is singled out again and again in tastings and reviews, closely followed by the Sumum, also warmly recommended for tasting. Further labels such as Negre S and Rosat Sara round out the range, showing that despite its modest size the estate works deliberately across styles without losing its family character. Visitors to the bodega get a direct look into organic viticulture and the chance to taste the wines right where they are made.
