Description

Bodega Son Puig is a family-run winery in Puigpunyent, Mallorca, producing limited-edition wines on a historic finca and offering guided tours with tastings.

Finca Wines Grown on the Estate

Son Puig is very much an estate winery: the harvest is carried out by hand through careful selection, and production is kept deliberately small. Both red and white wines are made exclusively from grapes grown on the finca itself. The whole project is driven by the family's commitment to sustainable, hands-on viticulture.

Guided Tours & Tastings

Visits take the form of personally guided tours, where the entire winemaking process — from harvest to barrique — is explained in depth. The tasting at the end of the tour can be rounded off with a homemade lunch in the garden. Tours are tailored to the group's existing knowledge and interests, making for an intimate, small-group experience rather than a conveyor-belt programme.

A Historic Estate with Character

The main building is a traditional Mallorcan possessió, lovingly maintained by the family. The estate also includes an old olive mill, and the grounds at the foot of the Sierra feature a sweeping, characterful garden that adds to the sense of stepping back in time.

Finding Us

The bodega is located on Finca Son Puig on the Carretera de Puigpunyent at kilometre 12.8, in the municipality of Puigpunyent (07194). Access is via a narrow private road, which means large coaches are unable to reach the estate.
