Description

Bodegas Xaloc is a winery in Pollença, in the north of Mallorca, producing its own wines and offering tastings on the estate.

Wines with Character

Bodegas Xaloc produces 18,000 bottles a year — a deliberately small run that gives the winery a truly artisan feel. The range includes a rosé, the Vino Verano, and full-bodied reds. Olive oil also features among the products.

Origins & Story

Christina Schallock first came to the island as manager of the Pollensa Golf Club. Captivated by the north of Mallorca, she acquired land and planted the first vines in 2001 — marking the birth of Xaloc. Today she runs the winery herself.

Wine Tastings

Bodegas Xaloc welcomes visitors for tastings on the estate. A tasting with Christina Schallock offers a wonderful insight into the story behind the wines. Groups are advised to book in advance.

Location & Getting There

The winery is set on the rural estate of Diseminado Poligono 1, No. 834, in the municipality of Pollença (07460). Its peaceful, out-of-town setting makes arriving by your own transport the most practical option.
