Bean to Bar: the Craft
Cachao produces chocolate on a bean-to-bar basis right here in Palma — handmade, organic and vegan. The cacao beans are processed in their raw state, which gives the whole range a character all of its own. Pop into the shop and you can watch the chocolate being made by hand in front of you.
Bars & Products
The bar range includes the likes of orange, sea salt, raspberry, rosemary & walnut, apricot & lavender, and pure cacao masses at 54%, 71% and 100%. Rounding out the offer are cacao powder, cacao nibs, cashew-cacao clusters and energy balls. The chocolate-coated almonds come particularly recommended. Alongside the chocolate, coffee is also available — hot chocolate included. Every product is formulated without refined sugar, with coconut sugar used as a sweetener, which the maker notes carries a low glycaemic index. The full range is also vegan and gluten-free.

Cachao champions local, island-sourced ingredients and recipes inspired by the Spanish landscape. Flavours such as lavender with apricot or walnut with rosemary bring together regional botanicals and artisan chocolate.
