Description
Café Ca'n Viguet is a café in the small village of S'Arracó in the south-west of Mallorca — right next to the village church, with a terrace and a garden seating area.
Coffee, Pa amb oli and Mallorcan cuisine
The coffee — whether espresso, café con leche or café amb llet — is one of the house's reliable strengths. On the food side, the Pa amb oli stands out as a firm favourite among regulars. There are also homemade sweet treats such as cheesecake, gató and banana bread, alongside traditional dishes including a fig-and-vegetable stuffed chicken (pollo relleno), coca de trampó and pa amb oli at breakfast.
Location: the heart of S'Arracó, right by the church
The café sits at Carrer de França 100 in S'Arracó — immediately beside the village church and next to the village fountain. Free on-street parking is available nearby. Ca'n Viguet is very much the central meeting point of the village, where locals gather on a regular basis.
Terrace, garden and atmosphere
You can sit out on the terrace right alongside the church wall, or settle into the newly laid-out garden seating area behind the building. The renovation — with a new bar, refreshed interior and garden terrace — has turned Ca'n Viguet into a calm, authentic spot that feels a world away from mass tourism. The atmosphere is relaxed and refreshingly unspoilt.
A family-run café with a long-standing tradition
The café is run by two sisters who are carrying on a tradition that stretches back decades. The handover to the new management has been warmly received by regulars — bringing a personal touch and a modern edge while preserving the character that has always made Ca'n Viguet special.
