Cafetería Raíces is an owner-run café serving Argentine and Spanish cuisine in the Llevant neighbourhood of Palma.

Home-cooked food from two worlds

The menu revolves around freshly prepared dishes and baked goods rooted in Argentine and Spanish tradition. Empanadas filled with beef and chicken, medialunas and croissants are among the most celebrated items. Alongside these you'll find toasts — including one with caramelised onions and goat's cheese and another with avocado and poached egg — llonguet sandwiches, alfajores, milanesas, brownies, lemon pie and coconut desserts. Coffee is served freshly roasted. A set lunch menu is available Monday to Friday at midday.

The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed — a feeling shaped largely by Sofi and Leo, who run the place themselves and do the cooking.
