The cove consists of a tiny strip of shore covered in seagrass, with jagged rocks stretching out into the sea. A ladder has been fixed to the rocks to make getting into the water a little easier. As sea urchins are present on the seabed, water shoes are well worth wearing. This is not a classic sandy beach — its appeal lies in its raw, untouched atmosphere.

Cala de n'Pina sits right on the coastal path that leads towards Cala Ratjada. The path is walkable on foot and fits neatly into a longer coastal hike. A hotel sits directly beside the cove, with its own steps leading down to the water and a clear view over the bay — which may limit the sense of seclusion somewhat.
