The Cove

The starting point for the descent to Cala Gata is in Banyalbufar. The walking trail is rated difficulty level 1, runs mostly in the shade, and is equally manageable on the return. If you're walking the coastal path from Port des Canonge towards Banyalbufar, bear in mind that the path runs well above the sea and the direct descent to the cove isn't always clearly signed — careful route planning beforehand is recommended.
