Cala Llombards
Description
Cala Llombards is a sandy cove on Mallorca's south-east coast, nestled between cliffs and renowned for its crystal-clear, turquoise water.
Water, Sand and Rock
The cove impresses with fine sand and crystal-clear, turquoise water. The natural framing of cliffs on either side makes it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkelling. The rocks offer jumping points into the sea, and ladders make it easy to climb back out of the water. Water shoes are recommended, as the rock edges can be sharp.
On-Site Facilities
A beach bar and kiosk serve refreshments, and sun loungers are available to hire. Toilets are on site. The ladders fixed to the rocks allow safe entry and exit from the water even along the rockier stretches of the cove.
Getting There
Cala Llombards is easy to reach by car, with a free car park just a short walk from the beach. Thanks to its accessibility and stunning setting, the cove gets busy during peak season — visiting outside the summer months means a noticeably quieter experience.
A Note on Jellyfish
Jellyfish occasionally appear in the bay, so it's worth checking conditions before heading in for a swim.
