Cala Nau

Cala Nau is a natural cove on the south-east coast of Mallorca, perfect as a starting point for coastal walks and a spot to unwind by the water.

The Cove

Cala Nau sits at the southern end of Cala Millor. The cove is a mix of sand and rock — a storm carried away part of the sandy beach, and it has yet to be restored. In the water itself, rocks can make getting in tricky. Seaweed can also be a factor depending on the time of year.

Walking Along the Coast

From Cala Nau, paths lead to Sa Coma and to the Castell de la Punta de'n Amer. The route that loops around Punta Amer is particularly worth doing — it's longer, but rewards you with far more coastal scenery. Allow around an hour and a half if you want time to take photos and soak up the views.
