Description
Cala Santanyí is a bay with fine sand and green-blue water in the south of Mallorca.
Water, Sand & Bay
This little bay impresses with crystal-clear, green-blue water and fine white sand. Steep rock faces frame the cala, and charming historic fishermen's cottages can be spotted at the water's edge. The sea entry is shallow, lifeguards are on hand, and a café sits right next to the beach.
Getting There & Location
The cala sits in the heart of the village of Cala Santanyí, at Carrer de sa Torre Nova 8. Steps lead down to the beach, or you can reach it from below via a car park right beside the shore. Further parking can be found in the surrounding streets above the bay.
Visitor Tips
The cala gets very busy on warm days and throughout the summer months. If you're after a quieter visit, May, September and October are much better bets.
