Cala Vinyes Beach
Description
Cala Vinyes Beach is a small sandy cove on the south-west coast of Mallorca, in the municipality of Calvià.
The Cove
Cala Vinyes is a small bathing cove framed by palm trees and pine forests. The water is clear and turquoise, and the entry into the sea is shallow and gentle. The cove is comparatively narrow, which means space on the beach itself is limited.
What's On Offer
The beach has a children's playground and a chiringuito serving food and drinks. Sun loungers and parasols are also available, and there is a lifeguard post on site.
Who It's Good For
The cove is a great choice for families with children — the playground, gentle sea entry and calm atmosphere make it a natural fit. Outside peak season, the beach is also a popular spot for a day out with dogs.
Location & Getting There
The beach is at Carrer del Coral 6, 07181 Calvià, on the south-west side of the island. Bus route 105 provides public transport access to the cove.
