Description

The Camí de Bóquer is a walking trail in Port de Pollença that winds through a mountain valley to the secluded rocky cove of Cala Bóquer.

The Trail and Its Landscape

The path winds its way through a rugged mountain landscape with sweeping views over the valley, the mountains, and the sea. Along the route, stony terrain and wild rosemary set the scene — and the closer you get to the cove, the more demanding the going becomes. At the end, a peaceful, unspoilt shingle-and-rock cove with clear, turquoise water awaits. When the sea is calm, it's a wonderful spot for a swim or a snorkel.

Wildlife Along the Way

Wild goats are a familiar sight both on the trail and down at the cove — and they're not shy about eyeing up your packed lunch. The route is also a great spot for birdwatching, with birds of prey among the species you might spot along the way.

Location & Getting There

The trail starts in Port de Pollença (07470). There is a car park right at the trailhead, and the bus station is also within easy reach of the starting point. At the beginning of the route you'll pass through two metal gates — please open and close them behind you, as they're there to keep dogs out of the nature reserve.

Practical Tips

Sturdy footwear is an absolute must, as the path is rocky throughout. The trail is largely exposed with little shade, so sun protection is essential. Dogs are not permitted anywhere along the route — this includes dogs on leads — and fines are issued for non-compliance.
