Description
Campament de La Victòria is a children's and youth camp in the municipal area of Alcúdia, Mallorca, run by the Institut Balear de la Joventut.
Natural Setting & Facilities
The site sits within an Àrea Natural d'Especial Interès (ANEI) — a protected zone and one of the most unspoilt, scenically outstanding areas in the Balearic Islands. The sea and mountains are right on the doorstep: the beach is within easy walking distance, and fresh water springs can be found on the grounds. The infrastructure includes spacious tents, a covered dining hall, sheltered shower and bathroom facilities, a generous canvas-covered camping area with washing facilities, two multi-purpose sports courts, a climbing wall (Rocòdrom), an archery range, and extensive open-air spaces.
Who It's For & How It's Used
The camp is well suited to school trips, holiday colonies, sports stays, and family gatherings, as well as hiking and water-based activities. With a capacity of 210 places, it welcomes school groups, clubs, and families alike. The site is owned by the municipality of Alcúdia and managed on its behalf by the Institut Balear de la Joventut.
Getting There
The camp is located on Camí Vell de la Victòria, kilometre 4.7, in Alcúdia. Take the Ma-13 motorway (Palma – Sa Pobla) to Alcúdia, from where the camp is clearly signposted.
