Description
Ca'n Bessol is a family-run finca hotel and agroturismo in S'Horta, in the east of Mallorca.
History & Character
The Adrover family settled in this area in the 17th century, as the threat of raids by North African pirates began to subside. The name Ca'n Bessol derives from the Mallorcan word for 'small pond'. Since 1997, siblings Toni and Jaume have carefully restored their grandparents' old farmhouse — including the haylofts, stables and outbuildings — and developed it into the welcoming guesthouse it is today. This blend of family history and agricultural heritage runs through every corner of the estate.
Accommodation & Outdoor Spaces
The rooms and apartments are furnished in traditional finca style, with many featuring private terraces or roof terraces and generous bathrooms. The garden is lovingly tended, with an outdoor pool at its heart. An outdoor kitchen and a barbecue area round off the outdoor offering beautifully.
Breakfast
Breakfast changes daily and draws on homemade and locally sourced produce — including freshly squeezed orange juice, egg and tortilla dishes, cheese, cold cuts, bread, jams and pastries. It's a genuine highlight of any stay and brings the agroturismo concept to life in the most delicious way.
Location & Surroundings
The estate sits inland, just a few kilometres from the sea, surrounded by the peaceful countryside of S'Horta. The charming village itself is within easy walking distance, and the beaches of Mallorca's east coast are only a short drive away.
