Description

Can Pa is an artisan bakery in Palma's Ponent neighbourhood, working with natural sourdough, stone-milled flour and organic ingredients — and carrying a social mission at its heart.

Bread, Pastries & Mallorcan Specialities

At the centre of the offering are sourdough loaves made with natural starter and organic flours — including rye sourdough, nut bread, spelt bread, carob bread and a rustic white loaf baked on stone. Alongside these sit Mallorcan classics: empanadas filled with peas and pork, coca de trampo, cocarrois and ensaimadas. On the sweeter side, the croissants and cheesecake are well worth seeking out. Local products such as jams are also available. Pastries and breads can be pre-ordered.

Craft Baking with a Social Purpose

Can Pa is more than a bakery: the project has a clear social mission and employs people with disabilities. This commitment, combined with a dedication to quality and accessible prices, is a defining characteristic of everything the bakery does.

The Neighbourhood Bakery That Was Always Needed

Can Pa is located at Avinguda de Joan Miró 37 in Palma's Ponent neighbourhood. Regulars from the area often say how much a bakery like this had been missing on their doorstep. The interior is warm and authentic — the design concept is the work of Jasper Morrison, as covered by Wallpaper* magazine. You're welcome to take away or sit and enjoy your order in.
