It's well worth saving room for the home-made desserts: lemon tart, carrot cake, cheesecake, orange cake and chocolate tiramisu are firm favourites. The Café Bombón is the standout coffee order. The kitchen makes a point of using local ingredients — the lemons for the tart come straight from the restaurant's own garden.

The real heart of Can'Nico is its courtyard: the garden and terrace area is a peaceful, cosy and thoroughly idyllic green retreat away from the bustle of central Sóller. The décor is tasteful and lovingly put together. On cooler or rainy days, there are also a handful of tables inside.
