From the wood-fired oven

The heart of Casa Xarreta is its wood-fired oven, whose distinctive aroma fills every corner. The bread — including wholemeal loaves — is baked inside it and wins people over with its flavour and colour. The cocas, traditional Mallorcan flatbreads, are the house speciality, with the roasted pepper version (Coca de Pimientos) particularly worth seeking out. Baguettes and croissants round off the baked goods on offer.

Pastries & sweet treats

On the sweet side, Croissants de Crema, Napolitanas de Chocolate and Ensaimadas all stand out — both the classic version dusted with icing sugar and the one filled with Cabello de Ángel (pumpkin jam). Larger cream cakes can be ordered in advance with a few days' notice. Carry boxes (Caixas) in a range of sizes are available to take your purchases home safely.
