Description
CASACLA is a bar and deli specialising in Spanish produce in S'Arenal – with sea views and tapas served right on the coast.
Deli, bar and café all in one
CASACLA brings together a café, bar and specialty food shop under one roof. Alongside coffee and drinks, you'll find tapas and snacks – including Jamón Ibérico and Jamón Serrano baguettes, local cheese and garlic bread. The shop itself stocks a selection of Spanish deli products, wines and liqueurs, salami in various varieties, sea salt and oils. The Gato del almendra – a traditional Mallorcan almond cake – is a firm favourite. You order at the counter inside, and drinks are then brought to your table.
Sea views in the thick of it all
The venue sits at Carrer de Cartago 24 in S'Arenal, just a stone's throw from the water. From the seats you can take in views of the sea – a welcome contrast to the lively Ballermann strip, where CASACLA holds its own with a calmer, distinctly personal atmosphere.
Character and charm
The interior is tastefully decorated and inviting, with guests describing it as cosy and a place you want to linger in. Value for money is consistently considered fair. In autumn, regulars say the mood becomes particularly laid-back and relaxed.
