Description
Casapueblo Coffee & Bakery is a café and bakery in Alcúdia, winning visitors over with homemade pastries, Uruguayan specialities, and excellent coffee.
Pastries, sweet treats & more
The heart of Casapueblo is its homemade baking. Croissants — plain or filled — sit alongside alfajores, including pistachio and lemon varieties. You'll also find ensaimadas, tostadas, avocado toast, and hearty sandwiches such as the chivito. Uruguayan cuisine and confectionery run through the entire menu like a golden thread, giving the café a character you won't easily find elsewhere in Alcúdia. If you're after something more substantial, you're in luck — paella and pizza are on the menu too.
Coffee
The coffee draws genuine praise — described as strong, aromatic, and well-pulled. If you prefer to skip the caffeine, decaf is also available.
Right beside the city walls
The café sits at Av. d'Inca 1, immediately next to Alcúdia's medieval city walls. The terrace looks out over the old fortifications — a setting that feels noticeably different from the more touristy spots in the historic centre. Inside, there's a compact, cosy interior with a handful of tables; outside, the terrace is a lovely spot to linger.
