Description
Celler La Parra is a traditional Mallorcan restaurant in Pollença, welcoming guests inside a historic wine cellar.
Mallorcan cuisine from the wood-fired oven
The kitchen at Celler La Parra is all about authentic Mallorcan home cooking: suckling pig and lamb shoulder from the wood-fired oven, paella, pa amb oli, tumbet, frit mallorquí and fresh seafood. The meat dishes — particularly the lamb shoulder and suckling pig — are renowned for their tenderness, and portions are generously sized. Among the desserts, the Grand Marnier soufflé, almond cake and homemade sweet treats are real highlights.
House-made wine and wine-cellar atmosphere
The restaurant is housed in a genuine old wine cellar, where original large barrels and traditional artefacts set the scene. The house wine is produced on the premises and is organic; you can also take a bottle home, with a maximum of two bottles per guest. A carefully chosen selection of local wines rounds off the list.
Value for money and table reservations
Celler La Parra is widely regarded as one of the best-value dining spots in the area. It is extremely popular and often fully booked, so advance reservations are strongly recommended — guests without a booking have been turned away. You can reserve a table online via the restaurant's website.
Location & getting there
The restaurant is located at Carrer de Joan XXIII 84 in Pollença. Free on-site parking is available, with additional free street parking nearby.
