The pass sits on the Ma-2130, linking the island's central plain with the Serra de Tramuntana. The ascent from Caimari towards Lluc is a Category 2 climb: 7.9 km long, with an average gradient of 5% and a summit elevation of 576 m. Sweeping hairpin bends define the route, and the road surface is considered to be in good condition. From the top, far-reaching views open up across the landscape. Fancy pushing on? Historical Background
The road was built between 1888 and 1893 using traditional craftsmanship, to a design by engineer Eusebi Estada.
