The shop stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, some of it home-grown — including avocados, chirimoyas and citrus fruits. Every Saturday, rotisserie chickens are available to take away. If you fancy lingering rather than just shopping, the adjoining bar serves bocadillos, tapas, coffee and vermouth. When Magda took over her father's business, she added tables inside and out, seamlessly blending the shop and bar into a single welcoming space.

Outside, a terrace invites you to sit back and unwind. The crowd is a pleasing mix of locals catching up and passing visitors. The whole place has a calm, family-run feel to it.
