Cooperatives Agro-alimentàries Illes Balears is the umbrella body for agricultural and agri-food cooperatives across the Balearic Islands, with its headquarters in Santa Maria del Camí on Mallorca.

Representation & Mission

The federation brings together and champions the interests of agricultural and food cooperatives throughout the Balearic archipelago. Its stated aim is to foster a strong and competitive cooperative sector in dealings with both public authorities and private organisations.

Training & Courses

A core part of the federation's work is running courses for professionals and individuals who work in agriculture or are looking to enter the sector. Subjects covered include horticulture, organic farming, the handling of pesticides and biocides, livestock transport, and horse husbandry and training. The in-house classrooms are well equipped, and some courses also take place at affiliated partner cooperatives.

Locations & Presence

The Mallorca base is at Av. Central 1 A in Santa Maria del Camí. The federation also maintains offices in Ibiza and Menorca, ensuring cooperatives on all three main islands of the archipelago are supported.
