Delta
Description
Delta is a rocky natural cove near Llucmajor in Mallorca, best known as a snorkelling and swimming spot.
Crystal-clear water and rich marine life
The water at Delta Cove is crystal-clear and calm. Snorkellers are treated to an underwater world teeming with fish and diverse marine life, while natural rock pools add to the charm of the bay. As well as snorkelling, the spot is well suited to swimming and diving.
Rocky scenery and atmosphere
Delta is an unspoilt, wild rocky cove with no sandy beach. The sunbathing areas are formed from rock, and the surroundings are rugged and completely natural. If you're after peace and seclusion, this is the place — there's virtually no infrastructure to speak of, but you'll find impressive sea views and beautiful sunsets in abundance.
Location and getting there
The cove sits within the municipality of Llucmajor (07609) in the south of Mallorca. Getting there is something of an adventure: a footpath leads downhill over partly slippery ground and through rocks to the water's edge. Parking is available along the access road, though at the water itself you'll need to navigate steps and rocky passages.
