Description

Dive & Snorkel Oceans Edge is a diving and snorkelling school in Sa Coma, welcoming beginners, children and experienced divers on guided excursions into the Mediterranean.

Diving & snorkelling for every level

The programme covers everything from introductory dives and Bubblemaker sessions for children through to refresher dives for those returning to the sport. The approach is methodical: each dive is preceded by a theory introduction covering underwater behaviour, hand signals and equipment, with some courses including a shallow-water practice session. Groups are kept small, and the instructors take time to fit equipment individually and address any worries — something that makes a real difference for nervous first-timers and children alike. Underwater, participants encounter fish, octopuses, starfish, sea urchins, monkfish, barracudas and scorpionfish across areas of seagrass, rock and sand. Underwater photos can be taken on request, a welcome extra that many visitors appreciate. All equipment is well maintained and in good condition.

Right on the water in Sa Coma

The dive centre is located at Passeig Neptú 21 in Sa Coma. The dive site is right on the doorstep, with the gently shelving sandy beach serving as the entry point. A nearby pool is available for initial practice sessions.

Booking ahead pays off

Those thinking of dropping in spontaneously should bear in mind that during peak season waiting times of up to a fortnight or so are common. Quieter periods allow for much shorter lead times. If visibility is poor, the team will get in touch proactively and offer alternative dates.
