El Guía is a boutique hotel with restaurant in the heart of Sóller – one of the oldest establishments on Mallorca, founded in 1880 and brought back to life after a thorough renovation.

History & Character

El Guía has been welcoming guests in Sóller since 1880. The property retains all the character of traditional Mallorcan architecture – evident in its structure, courtyard and thoughtfully curated interiors. A careful renovation has brought the historic building gently up to date without sacrificing an ounce of its authenticity. Select rooms offer views of the Serra de Tramuntana or the grand bell tower of the church.

Accommodation & Breakfast

Rooms are clean and well kept; part of the building has been newly refurbished. The breakfast buffet includes freshly squeezed orange juice. The in-house restaurant serves Mallorcan cuisine – from paella to a range of other regional dishes.

The hotel has an outdoor pool, as well as a hot tub and sauna. The spa facilities can be reserved at reception – particularly welcome after a day's hiking in the surrounding hills.

El Guía is located at Carrer de Castanyer 2, right next to Sóller's railway station; the main square is just a short walk away. The tram stops directly in front of the hotel. Arriving by car is tricky, and free parking is not available in Sóller – it's worth planning ahead if you intend to drive.
