The family business was founded in 1963 by Gabriel Tortellà Picornell, after his first work in 1955 as an electrician at the Teatre Líric de Palma de Mallorca. Today Miquel Tortellà Munaret leads the company, with support from Gabriel Tortellà Máñez, a Technical Industrial Engineer specializing in electricity. The office and warehouse are in the same building.
