Description
The Ermita de la Santísima Trinitat sits above Valldemossa in Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana — a peaceful hermitage with a chapel, a terrace, and sweeping views across the Mediterranean.
A Quiet Retreat with Sea Views
Perched high above Valldemossa, this chapel occupies a wonderfully secluded spot in the hills. The terrace opens up to broad views of the Mediterranean coastline, and the whole place carries an atmosphere of calm and simplicity. Shaded picnic areas and benches make it easy to sit and soak it all in.
Getting There
The hermitage is found at Carrer Ermita Joan Mir 5 in Valldemossa. The access road is extremely narrow, steep in places and stony — wider vehicles will struggle, and turning around at the top is tricky. Parking directly at the site is very limited. The best approach is to leave your car lower down and walk up; a footpath runs alongside the road.
Walking & Nature
Trails wind through the shady holm-oak woodland surrounding the ermita, where you can spot traditional charcoal-burning platforms and a lime kiln. The site also serves as a starting point for wider routes through the area.
