Es Caló de Sant Antoni is a sandy, stony and rocky bathing cove within the municipal area of Llucmajor, Mallorca.

Water & Beach

The water is clear and turquoise, with a shallow, gently sloping entry — the cove stays shallow for a good stretch out. There are no sun loungers or parasols here. Alongside the sandy area there are also rocky sections, including one side that's well suited to four-legged companions.

On Site

There's a bar on the beach serving coffee, beer and cocktails. You can also hire surfboards, kayaks and paddle-surf equipment. Toilet facilities are available.

Atmosphere

The cove has a calm, family-friendly feel — the shallow water makes it particularly great for children. Outside the peak summer months it's noticeably quieter. The occasional scent of seaweed, along with seaweed on the shore and in the water, is a well-known feature of the location. There are no beach vendors here.

The cove sits right next to the Club Náutico de S'Arenal on Carrer de Costa i Llobera 9 in Llucmajor, and is within walking distance of El Arenal. Follow the coastline and you'll reach further small coves as well as the Mirador de Son Veri Nou, which offers a sweeping panoramic view across the Bay of Palma.
