The family farm Es Seregalls sits in Es Marroigs, Fornalutx, amid the Serra de Tramuntana — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the heart of the farm are its ancient olive trees and traditional terraces, which the host family tends sustainably, following in the footsteps of their ancestors. Your visit begins in the summer kitchen, where you join your host to put together a picnic basket and sample a range of olive oils and olives. The picnic itself includes olives, pa amb oli, almonds, and — depending on the season — freshly squeezed orange juice. A signed trail then takes you through the olive grove at your own pace, with information boards in several languages explaining cultivation, harvesting, and processing. Animals also roam the grounds, adding to the charm.

Getting to Es Seregalls

The farm is located at Sa Vinya Vella d'Amunt in Fornalutx (07109). Arriving by car is possible but is quite an adventure in itself. If you prefer, you can walk up from Fornalutx — the climb takes around 35 minutes and rewards you with lovely views along the way. The farm is also reachable on foot from Rentadores Biniaraix.
