The Artist: Gustavo Peñalver Vico
Gustavo Peñalver Vico was born on 11 April 1939 in Cartagena, Spain. In 1946 he moved to Mallorca. Between 1958 and 1962 he studied in Barcelona, then spent time in Paris from 1963 to 1964. His first official exhibition was held in 1963 at the Galería Minorica in Palma, Mallorca.
