Art with the Donkey at Its Heart

The artistic centrepiece of Esther Deemter's work is the donkey — depicted in countless variations and formats, yet always free from cliché. Her portrayals give the animal a distinct, powerful presence. Alongside large-format donkey paintings that work equally well in contemporary coastal apartments and rustic fincas, the programme includes abstract canvases and the so-called Finca Style Collection — a series combining Mediterranean colours with oriental undertones. Three-dimensional pieces reminiscent of mosaic tiles, hand-painted cushion covers, and further objects featuring the signature donkey motif round out the range. Commissions are also welcome.

Gallery & Studio in the Old Town

The gallery is located at Carrer Pare Catany 4 in Felanitx's historic old town, directly opposite the covered market hall. Whether you're visiting the weekly market or cultural events such as the Nit de l'Art, the studio is an easy find on foot.

A Place to Browse and Choose

Esther Deemter and her husband welcome visitors personally in the gallery. The studio invites you to take your time and look around at your own pace, and if you'd like help making a choice, they're on hand to guide you. Oversized XXL works are available alongside smaller formats and accessories — from postcard-sized pieces right through to wall installations.
