History & Development

The pharmacy was relocated to Calle Reis Catòlics 58 by its founder, María Caldentey, in 1982. Pharmacist Juan Vicens Caldentey joined in 1994, and in 2006 he oversaw a full renovation of the healthcare area — enlarging the floor space and automating the stock room to reduce dispensing errors and speed up service. A further expansion followed in 2018, when the premises were extended to include an officially licensed laboratory for magistral formulations.

Magistral Formulations & Product Range

The in-house laboratory specialises in the bespoke preparation of medicines to individual specifications. The broader product range also covers cosmetics and orthopaedic products. Items that are not immediately in stock can be ordered and set aside for collection at a later date.
