Description
Finca Comassema is a historic Mallorcan Possessió in the valley of Orient, used as an exclusive wedding and events venue.
Centuries of Heritage in the Tramuntana Valley
Finca Comassema sits in the valley of Orient, nestled within the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Possessió traces its roots back to prehistoric times and was first recorded in 1229 during the Reconquista under James I of Aragon, with Nuño Sanz as its earliest known owner. Traditional stone architecture and the authentic character of a Mallorcan country estate define its appearance to this day.
Spaces & Atmosphere
A cobbled courtyard forms the heart of the estate, looking out over the valley — a setting frequently chosen for wedding ceremonies. Sweeping garden areas, a swimming pool and the historic Safareig, a traditional water cistern, complete the ensemble and offer a wonderfully varied backdrop. The well-kept grounds and the surrounding mountain landscape, with its panoramic views of valley and peaks, are a defining feature of the venue.
Weddings & Events
Finca Comassema is dedicated to weddings and private events. The estate allows couples and hosts to arrange the ceremony, reception, dinner and evening celebrations across its different areas. Grupo Amida serves as the exclusive caterer at the finca. Couples travelling from abroad who were unable to visit in advance have found the reality matches — or exceeds — their expectations. Visits to the estate are available by prior arrangement.
Location & Getting Here
The finca is located in the municipality of Orient (07349) in the Tramuntana mountains. The drive takes you through unspoilt mountain countryside; free on-site parking is available, and free street parking can be found nearby.
Pricing
Finca Comassema sits firmly in the premium price bracket. Additional services — such as transport, kitchen equipment, lighting, extended bar hours or welcome drinks — are charged separately and can significantly increase the overall cost.
