Rural life on the finca
Finca Sa Cova Vella welcomes guests to a sprawling estate shaped by Mediterranean vegetation, fruit trees and flowers. The resident animals include horses, ponies, pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, ducks and geese — many of them free to roam and happy to be stroked. For a number of the animals, the finca serves as a sanctuary.
Apartments, pool & outdoor spaces
The one- and two-bedroom apartments are furnished in an authentic rustic style, each with a private kitchen, bathroom and its own terrace. The large pool is well maintained and includes a shallow area suitable for children and non-swimmers. A barbecue area with a kitchenette and outdoor shower rounds off the outdoor facilities.
Horse riding & activities
Pony rides for children and riding excursions for all abilities can be booked through the on-site equestrian centre, Natura Cavall. Carriage rides across the estate are also available. Strolling through the park-like grounds takes you past peaceful corners and animal enclosures.
Location & surroundings
The finca sits on the Carretera Manacor a Colònia de Sant Pere at kilometre 3, just outside Manacor. It is roughly 5 km from the town of Manacor and around 20 km from the beach at Son Serra de Marina. The quiet, secluded setting well away from tourist hotspots is very much part of the charm.
